Aptum, LLC operates this site. This page says plainly what is collected here and why. If you would rather none of it applied to you, email nick@aptum.ai and it will be deleted.
What you send me
When you submit a form, I receive what you typed: your name, email, and the qualification details relevant to the route you chose — deal stage, firm, timeline, and so on. It goes to my own automation and email, is used to reply to you and to run the engagement, and is not sold or rented. Except for candidate profiles shared as described below, it is not shared with anyone outside Aptum AI. Deal information, CIMs, and data room links are treated as confidential regardless of whether an NDA is in place.
Candidate information
When you apply to the Mission Technical Talent Network, I collect your contact information, resume, work background, technical experience, role preferences, and the mission and clearance details you choose to provide. Clearance information is self-reported, and Aptum AI does not verify it. I may share an anonymized summary of your background with prospective employers as described in the consent you provide, but your name and resume are shared only with your permission. To request deletion of your candidate information, email nick@aptum.ai.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics record page views and basic interaction events so I can tell which pages do their job. Vercel Speed Insights records loading performance. None of it is used to build a profile of you as an individual.
Visitor identification
This site runs a business visitor-identification tag (Leadsy VTag, which reports to Instantly). It attempts to identify the company a visitor is browsing from, based on network signals, so I can see which kinds of firms are reading which pages. It is not attempting to identify you by name, and I do not use it to cold-email people who have simply read the site. If you would prefer to be excluded, email me and I will suppress your domain, or block the script with any standard content blocker.
Newsletter
Dead Reckoning subscriptions are handled by Kit. You can unsubscribe from any issue, and unsubscribing removes you from the list entirely.
Cookies
Analytics cookies from the services above, and a session cookie if you sign into the client portal. Nothing else.
Client system data
When a client authorizes an Aptum AI integration with one of its business systems, such as QuickBooks Online, I access that system's data only under the client's engagement and authorization. It is used only to deliver services to that client, stored in a cloud environment dedicated to that client, and never sold, rented, or shared. Access can be revoked at any time, and data is deleted on request or at the end of the engagement.
Asking for removal
Email nick@aptum.ai and ask. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no retention argument on the other side of it.
